If you exclude Japan and look only at Office 365 Personal plans, Denmark is the most expensive place. Strictly speaking, it’s an exception not an outlier. We decided to include Japan in our table because ‘Office 365 Solo’ is the only Office 365 plan available for individuals in that country. Instead they have ‘Office 365 Solo’ which allow TWO Office licences for two computers. Curiously and uniquely(?) Japan it’s the only Microsoft subsidiary that does not sell Office 365 Home (the five licence pack). Japan doesn’t sell the ‘Personal’ plan with a single Office licence. Japan is a special placeĪt first look, the highest price is in Japan with JPY ¥12744 That’s US$114.66 or 64% more expensive than USA. That’s in line with the results for Office 365 Home global prices. Russia is easily the cheapest, with India coming next. That’s about US$47.82 or 32% cheaper than USA.
